FOOTIE CHALLENGE

  • Each weekend of the Footie Challenge season, all competitors have the option to select upto seven football league clubs.

  • Each of the 92 football league clubs can only be selected twice per season, once when playing at home and once when playing away.

  • The Footie Challenge season shall run for the duration of the regular football season.

  • For each competitors selected club they will receive 3 points for a win, 1 point for a draw and 0 points for a loss.

  • Only Premiership, Championship, League One and League Two fixtures are eligible in Footie Challenge. No FA Cup, League Cup or any other competition will count.

  • Only fixtures played on a Friday, Saturday and Sunday of each weekend shall count towards Footie Challenge.

  •

  • Any match called off or abandoned before the 90 minutes are played, shall be deemed that the club was not selected and will be available to be selected again should there still be time left in the season.

  • No competitor may select both teams when they are playing against each other. If both teams are selected then neither team will be registered. You can re-submit one of the teams if there is time before the deadline.

  • The winner shall be the competitor who has the most points at the end of the season. If points are equal then the best goal difference shall decide the winner. If goal difference is equal then the competitor with the most goals scored shall be declared the winner. If it is still equal then the most amount of wins will decide the winner. If it is still equal then the competitor who had the most 6 point teams (won both home and away when selected) will be the winner. If it is still equal then the result will be a tie.

CHAMPIONS KNOCKOUT

  • The Eighty80 rule.

To qualify for the following season™s Champions Knockout, competitors must have played at least 80 home games and 80 away games in the previous season.

  • For each round of the Champions Knockout, competitors who are still in the competition, must select the maximum of 11 football league clubs.

These 11 clubs must be teams competing in either the Premiership, Championship, League Division One or League Division Two.

  • Only Premiership, Championship, League One and League Two fixtures are eligible for the Champions Knockout.

No FA Cup, League Cup or any other competition will count.

  • Only fixtures played on a Friday, Saturday and Sunday of each round shall count towards the Champions Knockout.

  • The aim is to select clubs who will score the most goals.

  • Each club can only be selected once, either at home or away.

  • If a club is selected and their game then does not take place or is abandoned during the selected rounds, then that club will be given back to the competitor and may be selected again in a following round, should the competitor still be in the competition.

  • The first 2 rounds:

All competitors will take part, and their goals scored in Rounds 1 and 2 will be totaled up, giving a goals scored table.

After Round 2 the competitor with the least amount of total goals scored will be eliminated.

If there is more than one competitor with the least amount of goals scored then those competitors shall play the following weekend in a replay.

In a replay, each competitors 22 clubs chosen in rounds 1 and 2 will be their selected clubs.

The competitor with the least amount of goals scored in the replay will be eliminated.

If goals scored was again equal then another replay will take place the following weekend, using their same 22 clubs.

  • Round 3 onwards. The competitor scoring the least amount of goals, in that round, will be eliminated.

If there is more than one competitor equal with the least amount of goals scored then those competitors shall play the following weekend in a replay.

In a replay, each competitors 11 clubs chosen in that round will be their selected clubs.

The competitor with the least amount of goals scored in the replay will be eliminated.

If goals scored was again equal then another replay will take place the following weekend, using their same 11 clubs.
